Loveshack

Loveshack is a modern micro-blogging and subscriber-supported publishing theme for WordPress. It combines an activity-stream homepage, IndieWeb-friendly defaults, gated content, paid tiers, private RSS feeds, and scheduled subscriber digest emails — without handing your site over to a hosted newsletter platform.

Version

You are reading the documentation for the version selected in the header dropdown. Use that selector to switch between releases.

What Loveshack gives you

  • An activity stream, not a blog roll

Statuses, images, videos, and long-form posts share one chronological homepage, each rendered in its own card style.

  • Subscribers built into the theme

Passwordless registration and login, a frontend settings screen, local avatars, and per-subscriber notification preferences — no plugin required.

  • A real membership model

Gate posts by subscription tier, sell tiers through Stripe Checkout, and keep gated content out of public RSS.

  • Email that you control

Scheduled HTML digests rendered from the theme's own email layout and sent through wp_mail(), so any SMTP provider works.
